about this blog
Why chai at six? Because growing up, my family and I would have chai every evening. Those moments of my youth are among my most favorite memories.

Who am I? A twentysomething working fulltime in Knoxville, Tenn.

Please note that all thoughts and comments described in this blog are purely my own and do not reflect the thoughts or attitudes of the company I work for.

    chai at six
I'm on this LotusVision mailing list but wasn't receiving any emails for a while. Turns out the email was still going to my Temple account. Alls fixed now; groups have been tidied too. Damn, Yahoo! rocks!

Anyhow, a mental/blog note to remember musician Omar Alexander. He's a true East-West mix (as we Desis like to say. I freakin' hate that term "East-West"): the offspring of a Hispanic woman and South Asian man. I listened to one of his songs which was cool a few minutes ago. I'm listening to "Front to back" now, which is making me think otherwise. I was orignally going to get his CD. Has a line like "your are the master, I am the slave." How dumb. Maybe that's the worst and the rest of the songs are chill. "Abandona el Amor" is the song that's really cool.

    Ah. The fusion of culture!
