about this blog
Why chai at six? Because growing up, my family and I would have chai every evening. Those moments of my youth are among my most favorite memories.

Who am I? A twentysomething working fulltime in Knoxville, Tenn.

Please note that all thoughts and comments described in this blog are purely my own and do not reflect the thoughts or attitudes of the company I work for.

    chai at six
I wonder if I should keep with the blog. My posts are now monthly and there is no natural way to even begin a new post.

I was in Chattanooga this evening visiting my very lovely friend Dharmisha. Her sister made this really good chicken dish ans her kaki made some great mutter-paneer. Good stuff! yum. I brought some back for Kent and he loved it.

Chad and I went for a walk yesterday afternoon with Isaac. Isaac played with the other doggies, while Chado and I talked and caught up on our lives. Hopefully we'll resume our adventure happenings again. But it seems that where ever we are, adventure finds us. Walking along the lake in Sequoyah Hills Park, I saw a tree that seemed easy to climb. So I climbed it. Chad followed thereafter. And Isaac, the wonderdog wanted to follow us too. So he tried a once or twice to run up the tree and Chado held onto his collar tryins to assist. After a few failed attempts, Isaac managed to climb up the tre. We all looked in amazement. Sweet happy Isaac had climbed a tree, We sat there a while, hanging out, talkihng. We had a few passerbys show their amazement of Isaac in the tree.

After a while, we needed to get down; that was the tricky part. We didn't know how Issac would get down. So finally, after much ruminating, Chado managed to jump down while I helt onto Isaac. Then Chad helped Isaac down. I came down last, holding the tree for dear life, as I did. An adeventure for sure.

I've been lucky to see many other friends recently. A lovely walk and dinner with Elizabeth and a very drawn-out, but fun, game of Cricket with Chris.

Friday, I'll be in Dallas. This will be the tailend of my fellowship, which began when I visited San Diego last January.

Other briefs: I had a super birthday. Kent took me to a fancy tapas restaurant and got me paints and canvasses; I got promoted that same day. Valentines Day was special and sweet and I have a funky bright red teapot to match my china.

Parting thought: As usual, life is good.
